1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Cara Mia Spa website (caramiaspa.com), booking an appointment, or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

Cara Mia Spa provides massage therapy, facial treatments, and related wellness and beauty services performed by a licensed massage therapist and esthetician. A full list of services and pricing is available on our website. We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue services at any time.

3. Appointments and Booking

  • Appointments may be booked through our website, by phone, or in person.
  • We recommend booking in advance, as availability is limited.
  • All services are provided by appointment only.
  • You must be 18 or older to book an appointment without parent or guardian consent.

4. Payment

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless prepaid through a package or membership.
  • We accept major credit and debit cards and other payment methods displayed at the time of checkout.
  • Prepaid packages, memberships, and gift certificates are governed by California law and do not expire. See Section 7 below.
  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable advance notice; previously purchased services or packages will be honored at the price at the time of purchase.

5. Cancellation and Late Policy

  • We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the booked service.
  • No-shows may be charged the full service price.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your service may be shortened or rescheduled at our discretion to accommodate other clients.

6. Health and Safety

  • You agree to inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or sensitivities prior to your service.
  • Cara Mia Spa reserves the right to decline service if we believe it is not safe or appropriate to provide.
  • Our services are not a substitute for medical care. Please consult a licensed medical professional for any health concerns.

7. Packages, Memberships, and Gift Certificates

Prepaid packages, memberships, and gift certificates purchased from Cara Mia Spa do not expire under California Civil Code §1749.5. Any service or stated benefit windows (such as "redeemable within 18 months") reflect our service recommendations, not legal expiration of the underlying cash value.

  • Memberships may be paused once per year and cancelled at any time with written notice.
  • Memberships and packages are non-transferable except as expressly provided in their terms (for example, a guest pass).

8. Conduct on the Premises

Cara Mia Spa is a calm, welcoming environment for all clients. We reserve the right to refuse service or ask you to leave for behavior that is disrespectful, unsafe, or disruptive to other clients or staff.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on caramiaspa.com — including text, images, logos, branding, and design — is the property of Cara Mia Spa or its licensors and is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cara Mia Spa is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in question.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
